Ingredients:
- 6 large onions approx. 2 pounds, any kind, I prefer white onion
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ tablespoon monk fruit golden sweetener optional, see note
- salt to taste
Instructions:

In a large non-stick pan, cook onions, butter, olive oil and monk fruit golden sweetener over medium-low heat.

Stir frequently until golden and caramelized. (About 45 minutes).
